Blessings of the Womb

"I had a c-section with my first baby, so I knew the second time around I wanted things to be differnt. Melea was a perfect fit for us, she was very calm and encouraging. The labor was so differnt than the first time! Melea encouraged me to walk, sit on the ball, have my husband rub my back. She seemed one step ahead of my pain with each contraction and always had the perfect suggestion for us. Before I knew it I was fully dialated! When I got to help pull my baby up to my chest, I was so excited that I had done it! I got the birth I wanted! Melea knew to sneak out of the room and give me and my husband some time alone. She also remembered to take some picture throughout the birth- something we had totally forgot to do! I am so thankful for her guidance, her constant support and her obvious intuition when it comes to birthing women!"  -Portland Mama

Melea was such a huge blessing when I was pregnant with our first. She went through the whole entire CRAZY hospital experience I had (I was there for like a week!) and was still such a rock star and tolerated me too, so that’s saying something! She was so encouraging and ready to answer any first time mom questions I had no matter what the question was. I would highly recommended her!- Victoria

Melea helped bring my baby boy into the world. She offered such compassionate and constant support, not only during labor but also throughout my pregnancy.
